GOLDEN HEART RANCH is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit that works toward the establishment of an exceptional, fulfilling and holistic lifestyle community for young adults with special needs. We are a pioneer organization comprised of parents, professionals, and activists on a crusade against the notion that young adults with special needs must either remain at home or enter unfulfilling group homes.
Currently there are crisis-level shortages of acceptable housing for young adults with special needs.  What housing exists is often inadequate and offers little quality of life. At the beginning of 2015, Golden Heart Ranch proudly announced the acquisition of 22 acres of land in Agoura Hills, bringing us one step closer to our vision of creating lifelong homes to serve the special needs community.  The Golden Heart Ranch Social Living Club is now thriving, providing Life skills and Social skills classes along with Hike, Track Club, Supper Club and Cooking programs.  In summer 2014, we launched our summer camp, enabling our young adults to explore the world around them.
Your support will allow us to expand these important programs for our special needs children and young adults.
Golden Heart Adventure, our most important annual fundraiser, will be held on MAY 21st, 2017. It combines an exciting competition of games followed by an afternoon BBQ and live music. Last year’s Adventure was very successful—we raised over $150,000—and we are counting on our community partners for another successful year. We are asking you to be a 2017 GHR Adventure sponsor.
We urge you to help Golden Heart Ranch build a future worthy of our special needs children & young adults.  Thank you for stepping up to the plate for our citizens who are unable to fight for themselves. Donations to Golden Heart Ranch are tax-deductible and go to support one of our nation’s most pressing causes.
The following pages provide information on how you can join and support our efforts by becoming a 2017 Adventure sponsor and how a partnership with GHR will promote your business.
Thank you for standing with our special needs community,
